Canberra based esports business, Active Gamers Australia, is interested in speaking to sports organisations about its 2019 school vacation program.
AGA has developed a school vacation program aimed at offsetting some of the issues associated with teen video gaming by combining video gaming with physical fitness, healthy eating and team building. It also teaches kids how to be good digital citizens - combating online issues such as bullying and toxic behaviour.
Each program is run in conjunction with a fitness partner that puts the kids through a coaching clinic each day. AFL ACT is partnering the summer program but we are keen to speak to more sporting clubs or associations, in the major cities, for opportunities later in the year.
AGA would like to know if your organisation is interested in being a fitness partner for a program in 2019.
As part of a partnership, your organisation would have access to up to 120 kids a day that are aged between 10 and 14 years. In many cases it will be the first time they have been exposed to your sport.
Your function space is also booked for the program providing you an immediate commercial benefit from the partnership. The gaming equipment is available outside of the daytime program hours should you wish to host an esport gaming event with your VIPs. AGA staff are also happy to discuss any other ideas you might have in the esport space.
